DEAD WATER

Terms of Use

Dear visitor:
thank you for visiting this site and reading the materials, which I prepared.
I hope you would find it informative and helpful!

Fluoridation of drinking water is a very controversial subject and had been so ever since fluoridation started.

It so happened that I had damaged my health as a result of prolonged ingestion of fluorides and that had determined where I stand on the issue of fluoridation.

However, no matter how strongly I feel about this subject, I cannot discount the simple reality that there are powerful interests in this world, who want to keep adding fluorides to our drinking water.

Here is my obligatory legal statement and disclaimer:

Some text passages of this site may mention "dentists" with regard to policy matters, policy positions, public pronouncements concerning policy, etc.
A text passage or a text link may be written this way simply as a matter of style.
Obviously, this cannot mean any particular "individual dentist" or any particular "group of dentists".

All that is made in reference to dental associations in the most general term, since only an association may formulate and implement the public policies of a profession.

Individual members of any professional body are generally assumed to agree with the policies of their elected representatives.

Nothing else is implied when saying "dentists" with regards to any given policy item.

With regards to the pictures of labels on the steel drums with grape and fruit juices, no claim is being made that the products under those labels are in any way substandard or contains fluorides or any other chemicals, which may be harmful to human health.

The producers of grapes, apples, pineapples and other fruits, which are mentioned on those labels, as well as processors and packagers, are doing their best to deliver the highest quality product to the final consumer.
However, their responsibilities end with packaging of their product and, possibly, selecting a carrier to deliver the product to its destination.
They cannot possibly have anything to do with the way their product is used by the final processor and/or consumer.
The only possible connection of fruit juices to fluoride ingestion the webmaster is making is when concentrated juice is diluted with fluoridated water, whether it is fluoridated artificially at any given water treatment plant, or through natural sources, as can be the case in geographical localities with high concentration of calcium fluoride in rocks and earth.
Those who desire to identify all possible sources of fluorides in their food and, possibly, to make sure that they reduce fluoride ingestion to the absolute minimum possible, should inquire with the final packager / distributor / processor as to what kind of water was used to reconstitute any particular concentrated juice.
The technological process of removing some water from juice, in other words, to make a concentrated juice, is a perfectly natural business decision, as it reduces transportation expenses.
Less weight being transported from producer to the final consumer directly transforms into less fossil fuels being burned to generate energy for the purpose of transportation.

Some of the steel drums in the pictures on this site have been in use as containers for various materials for several years, after they have been recycled by the final juice packagers / distributors / processors.
Worn-out condition of steel drums, as well as scratched, torn, stained and otherwise old labels cannot, obviously, bear any connection to their condition at the time of packaging at the juice processing / packaging plant.

Short of the most general facts, the webmaster of this site does not know the details of technology of juice- or wine-making and is not trying to make any statements regarding any possible shortcomings of the technological processes, which could be associated with any of the products under the labels on the pictures on this site.

The only connection with fluoride content in reconstituted juices is with locally produced / treated water, which is used to reconstitute / dilute the concentrated juices.
The author and the webmaster of this website disclaims any possible connection between the domain name of this site and various fruit juices or other products, as represented by their labels.
